Artificial Intelligence of Medical Things: Functional Analysis on Paradigm Shift in Healthcare Delivery
摘要
The Artificial Intelligence of Medical Things (AIoMT) represents a transformative shift in healthcare, merging AI capabilities with interconnected medical devices to enhance patient care, diagnostics, and healthcare delivery. AIoMT enables real-time data collection, predictive analytics, and personalized treatment through wearable health monitors, smart implants, and automated systems. Modern healthcare is fast changing due to the convergence of artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT), which is propelling a radical change away from reactive, hospital-centered treatment and toward proactive, patient-centric models. The integration of AI into Medical Things and its role in igniting a paradigm shift in healthcare delivery are functionally analyzed in this study. This study explores the theoretical foundations, applications, and implications of AIoMT in healthcare supply chain management (SCM). A comprehensive literature review highlights existing research on AIoMT adoption, barriers, and its impact on healthcare efficiency. The study aims to develop a conceptual framework for AIoMT-SCM integration, identify key drivers and technological barriers, and assess its potential to optimize healthcare supply chains in India. By using demand forecasting, the study has identified the number of times AI will remind about stock keeping units and by using cross-tabulation and multiple regression analysis, this research examines the distribution of AI-assisted treatments across gender, disease types, and age groups. And also by using cross-tabulation and multiple regression analysis, this research examines the distribution of AI-assisted treatments across gender, disease types, and age groups, while evaluating their impact on patient recovery rates. Findings suggest that AIoMT significantly enhances patient monitoring, diagnostics, resource utilization, and predictive healthcare. The global AIoMT market is experiencing rapid growth, driven by increasing demand for smart medical devices, telemedicine expansion post-COVID-19, and government-led digital healthcare initiatives. However, challenges such as regulatory compliance, infrastructure limitations, and high implementation costs persist, particularly in developing countries. The study concludes that AIoMT has the potential to revolutionize healthcare by improving accessibility, precision medicine, and operational efficiency. Addressing regulatory concerns and fostering global collaborations can further enhance AIoMT adoption, paving the way for sustainable and technology-driven healthcare ecosystems.
