Industry 5.0 Inventory Model with Sustainability-Driven Demand and Neutrosophic Cost Parameters
摘要
Manufacturing in modern times is expected to integrate and embed into the framework of Industry 5.0 to establish a resilient production system. The sustainability component is highly crucial in strategic planning, and the manufacturing modalities must be aligned with environmental sustainability. This research work proposes a neutrosophic-based inventory model with demand dependent on the sustainable parameters and other eco-centred cost parameters. The proposed neutrosophic model is validated with an illustration. The results validate the effectiveness of the proposed model, and a comparative analysis with deterministic models is performed to exhibit the versatility of neutrosophic representations. The model proposed in this research is more comprehensive and flexible with diverse parametric representations and facilitates decision-makers in evolving sustainable-centred policies.
