A Reliability-Based Inventory Model with Shortages for Deteriorating Items Under the Effect of Learning
摘要
This chapter presents a fuzzy-based ordering policies model that takes inflation, learning effects, and trade credit techniques into account while including preservation technologies and controlling deteriorating items in scenarios with variable demand. The model incorporates important variables, including learning effects, item reliability, and carbon emissions. The application of the mathematical formulations and solution methodologies is demonstrated with numerical examples. Sensitivity analysis shows how parameters affect important performance indicators. In order to effectively regulate costs, the study highlights the significance of taking preservation technologies, carbon taxes, and learning effects into account while managing inventories. Production guidelines and two-level trade credit regulations for the system of supply loop management may be the subject of future studies.
