This chapter explores the planning of Chinese rule of law discourse in the new era, emphasizing the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) as a pivotal platform. It outlines the necessity of constructing a Chinese rule of law discourse system aligned with global governance trends. The chapter discusses the disciplinary origins, dilemmas, and goals of rule of law discourse planning, focusing on enhancing Chinese international discourse power. It also examines translation policies’ role in guiding translation activities and proposes a comprehensive translation planning framework for the BRI, covering discourse, status, education, and spreading planning.
