In China, the public interest litigation initiated by the procuratorial organs has many advantages and plays an increasingly significant role in the modernization of national governance system and governance capacity. Therefore, its development prospects are worth looking forward to. Especially in the process of Chinese modernization, the modernization of PPIL is an inevitable choice for the procuratorial organs at present. However, in practice, there are also many difficulties and challenges faced by the procuratorial organs, among which the most fundamental is the insufficient supply of legislation. Therefore, it is urgent to effectively promote the implementation of specialized legislation for PPIL, which is conducive to providing legal institutional support for systematically addressing issues in the field of public interest protection. On the basis of elaborating in detail the necessity and feasibility of specialized legislation for PPIL, this chapter puts forward many relevant legislative suggestions.
