Artificial Intelligence as an Enabler of Clean Energy and Environmental Resilience
摘要
Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly recognized as a transformative tool for advancing sustainability in environmental management and clean energy systems. In environmental domains, AI enhances climate modeling, real-time monitoring, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable agriculture through predictive analytics and computer vision. In the energy sector, it enables accurate renewable energy forecasting, smart grid optimization, and predictive maintenance, supporting greater efficiency and integration of solar, wind, and other renewable sources. Case studies highlight its practical benefits, including reduced resource waste, cost savings, and improved resilience. However, challenges such as data quality, computational demands, and limited model interpretability remain barriers to widespread adoption. Looking ahead, the development of green AI, standardized data frameworks, explainable models, and robust governance will be essential to ensure equitable and responsible deployment. Overall, AI offers significant potential as a catalyst for accelerating the global transition toward sustainability and climate resilience.
