Book Review and Future Work
摘要
This chapter presents a comprehensive recapitulation of the key technical advances discussed throughout the book. We trace the progression from classical 2D facial analysis (preprocessing, landmark detection, feature extraction, attractiveness prediction, and beautification) to 3D reconstruction-aware analysis (3D facial reconstruction, 3D geometric feature design and selection, 3D attractiveness prediction, and controllable 3D beautification). We also summarize the integrated application system that operationalizes online landmark detection, attractiveness prediction, and beautification. By outlining future research directions across dataset balance, algorithm fairness, and model interpretability, this chapter serves as both a concluding summary and a forward-looking roadmap for researchers and practitioners in the field of facial attractive analysis.
