摘要

The purpose of the current research work is to develop new class epoxy composite materials for the use in industrial electrical applications. According to a survey of the literature and a 36Kv insulator from the neighborhood, the conventional material (CY225/HY925) results in low pressure rates and high insulator coefficients. The material (CY225/HY225) is now a commonly used insulator material that has good pressure. Experimentally, it is observed that CY225/HY225 has more insulator rate; it is decreased by adding fillers in the original insulating materials. In this work used experimental analysis to determine the impacts of altering loading, sliding velocity, mechanical properties, and filler content in CY225/HY225 in distilled water as an insulator. Presented demonstrating how the inclusion of filler content might enhance the characteristics of CY225/HY225 insulator material. To collect the experimental data in a controlled manner, an experiment based on the scientific technique by the Taguchi method was carried out. The outcomes of the experiments are wear and coefficient of friction measured from the tribometer. Demonstrating how the filler content and altering load have a significant effect on the insulator material properties. It shows addition of filler content was found to improve the wear resistance of the insulator composites and variation in normal load is more responsible for decrement in coefficient of friction according to experimental and environmental conditions.
