Navigating Risks: A Deep Dive into Smart City Infrastructure
摘要
As cities embrace digital transformation, smart city infrastructure emerges at the intersection of innovation and vulnerability. This paper provides a comprehensive exploration of the risks associated with developing and maintaining smart city systems including cybersecurity threats, data privacy concerns, system interoperability challenges, and infrastructure resilience. Based on the real-life use cases and the already available models, this paper considers the opportunities and the main challenges of the smart cities. At the same time, the research further explores the role of urban forwarding in promoting good governance, policy and risk implications, and the strategies for developing safe, endurable and people orientated urban environment. This deep dive is for anyone attempting to figure out where we are at in the modern infrastructure landscape, and what we might do so that smart cities don't go the way of endless loss of securities and a loss of trust.
