Research on the Improvement of English Speech Intelligent Assisted Learning System Based on AI Speech Recognition Technology

Currently, teachers can leverage AI technology and personalized recommendation of learning resources, providing real-time feedback and evaluation, and assisting students in developing self-directed learning and cross-cultural competence. Teaching strategies should revolve around achievement goals, ensuring that teaching activities are closely related to students’ learning needs, and improving teaching quality through continuous improvement evaluation mechanisms. Many English learners commonly experience negative transfer of their native language pronunciation during oral communication, which affects the smooth progress of foreign language communication. This article uses an English speech intelligent assisted learning system to conduct cognitive analysis of this phenomenon from the perspective of personal experience principles in cognitive psychology, and puts forward some useful suggestions on how AI speech recognition technology can help learners overcome the phenomenon of negative transfer of speech, which has a valuable implication for the research of language teaching approach under the background of the rapid progress in the field of AI.
