Economic Research On Frequency Modulation Operation Of Wind Power Dominated Power System With Energy Storage
摘要
At present, due to the increasing construction scale and number of wind power projects, the random fluctuation of wind power increases the difficulty of maintaining the system frequency; The common power generation equipment needs to maintain a certain reserve regulation margin because of the system frequency deviation caused by load stabilization and wind power intermittency. However, this operation mechanism will force the wind farm to significantly reduce output during low load period, resulting in a waste of resources. Leading to serious curtailment during low-load periods. Variable-speed wind turbines can effectively alleviate the frequency regulation pressure on traditional units by participating in grid frequency regulation through reduced load operation. To this end, first, A load shedding operation control method of variable speed wind turbine is proposed, which realizes the unit power reduction operation by coordinating overspeed regulation and pitch angle control. Second, create a scheduling scheme for wind energy storage system with frequency optimization coordinated by wind power generation and energy storage. System’s frequency regulation reserve constraints are set up based on opportunity constraints, taking into account the dynamic reduced load operation mode of wind-driven generator to optimize the reduction rate of wind power. Finally, combined with practical calculation cases, this paper proves the feasibility of this scheme, which can optimize the overall efficiency of the wind power system and reduce the cost.
