摘要

The study of pure time-delay systems holds significant importance in *industrial production processes. Pure time delay refers to the period from when the input signal begins to act on the system to when the system output starts to change, representing a temporal lag. Most actual controlled objects exhibit pure time-delay characteristics. Control processes containing pure delays tend to produce noticeable overshoot, thereby reducing system stability and accuracy, while also resulting in prolonged settling time that affects system responsiveness. When the ratio of the controlled object’s time delay to the transient process time constant becomes relatively large, conventional control strategies cannot meet the system’s precision requirements and may even lead to system instability. To address control issues in pure time-delay systems, various control methods have been proposed and investigated. Traditional PID control shows limitations in pure time-delay system applications. This paper employs MATLAB algorithms to conduct research on pure time-delay systems.
