The Deep Application of Computer Simulation Analysis in Green Building Design

As global attention to sustainable development intensifies, green building design faces many challenges in reducing energy consumption and environmental impact, including high energy consumption and resource waste during the design process. This paper aims to explore the in-depth application of computer simulation analysis in green building design, and optimize the design process by establishing a building energy consumption model and an environmental simulation model. First, data from 100 green building cases are collected, and preliminary designs are carried out using building information modeling (BIM) technology. On this basis, CFD software is used to simulate the air flow and temperature distribution of the building to evaluate the comfort of the indoor environment. Subsequently, thermal simulation analysis tools are used to calculate the energy consumption of the building, and comparative analysis is conducted for different design schemes. After the optimized design, the energy consumption of the building is reduced by 19.7%. Computer simulation analysis not only improves the scientific and accuracy of green building design but also provides effective decision-making support for achieving an efficient and sustainable building environment.
