摘要

Water dams mitigate flood disasters by stopping water movement. Indonesia has several dams to stabilize water flow. However, dam door guards struggle to manage water levels due to poor infrastructure. The manual alert status reporting must be enhanced since it requires constant attention. Naturally, these preceding issues need time and effort to be resolved. The internet-connected MCU Node Microcontroller is used for this study. A technical tool must be utilized to solve these issues. A microcontroller, NodeMCU, is linked to the Internet and controls irrigation water levels automatically. This system is clever since it automatically checks water levels and simultaneously updates the info through smartphone alerts. When the water level exceeds the threshold on this gadget, a dam door opens automatically. This paper aims to develop the prototype to automatically control the irrigation water level at Karalloe Dam using Node Mcu Microcontroller. Through the study, it was found that the prototype enables a faster response to water overflow from the dam, especially with the utilization of internet.
