摘要

Buildings are significant contributors to energy consumption, mainly due to the use of HVAC systems. This systematic literature review investigates the prospects of integrating hybrid radiant cooling systems in residential and non-residential buildings in humid tropical climates based on energy efficiency, thermal comfort, and environmental impact. This study evaluates existing research on hybrid radiant cooling systems to assess their viability, effectiveness, and challenges, focusing on sustainable and energy-efficient cooling solutions in this specific environmental context. The review highlights key insights regarding system design, performance optimization, thermal comfort, energy consumption, and environmental impact by synthesizing findings from diverse sources, including academic journals and conference proceedings. The hybrid radiant cooling system, which integrates passive and active cooling systems, efficiently provides indoor thermal comfort, energy efficiency, and reduces environmental impact.
