Modification of Moveable Louver for Indoor Lighting Distribution

摘要

The movement of the sun makes shading tend to be less effective Shading should respond adaptively to the movement of the sun. Shade will reduce the intensity of light in a room. Modifications are needed to the moveable shade so it has double function. In addition to protect from sunlight, it can also be a light shelf to reflect light into the room so that the light intensity can be maintained. The purpose of this research is to modify and test the performance of the shade to make it more optimal. Simulation method is used to see the performance of the modified shade. From the experiments that have been conduct, it shows that the performance of the modified louvers has succeeded in increasing the value of light intensity in the room. In terms of lighting distribution, more than half of the room area still has enough light intensity for activities or still above the lighting standard of 300 lux. This makes the modified louver has better performance than the movable louver.
