The question of culture and its fate amidst rapid global development has raised several concerns for urban planners. The coexistence of culture and human beings has resulted in culture as the direct reflection of human evolution through time. This relationship brings up questions regarding its significance to all layers of the human’s social dimension. Will culture eventually disappear as the modern world invests its focus on technological advancement? Or does it become the dominant driver of politics, science, and economy later in the future? The aforementioned questions are related to the rising trends of the symbolic economy and how the built environment has shifted to respond to this modern integration of culture and economy. This research aims to outline the architectural strategy that responds to the existence of a symbolic economy.
