摘要

Parks play a crucial role in reducing pollution and lowering air temperatures. Gajah Park is situated in the heart of Bandar Lampung. The park receives no visitors during midday, prompting the need to conduct a study on the thermal comfort levels in the park. The study involved measuring temperature and humidity for four days in some areas using a windmate. The data was used to calculate the Thermal Comfort Index (THI) to evaluate the park’s thermal comfort criteria. The results indicated that the park predominantly fell under the uncomfortable and partially comfortable criteria, with the highest THI value of 28.2 recorded in the central zone of the park. This is attributed to the lack of protective vegetation and other factors such as sunlight reflection from vehicles around the park.
