摘要

7075 aluminum alloy is prone to localized corrosion, such as pitting corrosion, intergranular corrosion (IGC), and spalling corrosion. These types of localized corrosion all associated with grain boundary. In order to investigate the influence of grain boundary characteristic distribution (GBCD) on intergranular corrosion, the grain boundary characteristics of 7075 aluminum alloy were characterized using electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD), and after corrosion in 3.5% NaCl pH = 2 for 1.5 h, 4 h and 7 h was examined the morphology using optical microscopy (OM). With the increase of immersion time, the corrosion rate of grain boundaries increases, the random grain boundary corrosion rate increased the fastest. The correlation of grain boundary character distribution with corrosion resistance was analysis further.
