The fatigue of the rocker shell seriously affects the service performance of the shearer, and the large elastoplastic deformation of the shell caused by the stress transmission and superposition of the rocker shell under complex loads is the essential reason for the fracture and failure of the shearer shell. The stress response contour diagram of the rocker arm shell and the surface of the drum and the deformation contour of the rocker arm shell were obtained by coupling ANASY with anasy.
