Solution of the Poisson Problem by Adaptive Isogeometric Analysis in G + Smo
摘要
The multivariate B-splines can be constructed by tensor product of univariate B-splines. This tensor product construction method does not support local refinement of the constructed multivariate B-splines, because any refinement will propagate through the entire parameter space and so is not local. One alternative remedy is the truncated hierarchical B-spline, which bases on a hierarchy of nested spline spaces. In the context of truncated hierarchical B-spline, this work adopts adaptive isogeometric analysis to solve the Poisson problem. The implementation is based on the open-source C++ library G + Smo.
