Design of Rapid Cooling System in Cryogenic Test

The deep space exploration mission had put forward the requirement of a 40 K (−233 °C) cryogenic test, which utilizes a gaseous helium cooling system to establish a 20 K cryogenic background. To address issues faced during the test, such as long cooling times and difficulty in controlling target temperatures, a target pressure control system was designed by optimizing external heat flow simulation tooling and enhancing gas molecular thermal conductivity under a high vacuum. This system enables coupled control of container pressure and product temperature. The problems of slow cooling rate and substandard temperature control were solved during model testing, and the cooling effect of the measured products was good.
