Measurement of Axial Preload Force of Flexible Shafting Components

摘要

In practical engineering applications, in order to ensure the rotation precision and stability of the high-precision flexible shafting, it is necessary to measure and apply the preload force accurately during the assembly process. In order to solve this problem, a measurement method of the axial preload force based on the combination of simulation analysis and actual measurement of the defamations of flexible shafting system is proposed in this chapter. First, the mechanical equilibrium equation of the parts of the flexible spindle system with preload is established; then, through the finite element analysis and screw parameter fitting of deformed surface of flexible parts, the mapping function between the screw parameters of deformed surface and the preload force is obtained. The screw parameters of deformed surface during assemble process could be calculated by using the laser displacement sensor; compared with the finite element simulation results, the actual preload force could be obtained. At last, the effectiveness and practicability of the method are verified by the actual engineering application in this paper.
