FPGA Design and Implementation of Multi-Analog-to-Digital Converter Data Communication System Based on EPICS
摘要
In order to meet the requirements for high real-time, high accuracy, and high-speed analog signal acquisition in multi-channel data acquisition, signal processing and real-time control systems for large experimental stations, a multi-channel analog-to-digital converter data communication system based on EPICS (Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System) is proposed. Communication systems and analog signal analysis are realized by FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) and AD conversion chip ADS8881. The digital signal is uploaded to EPICS dynamic database in real time by ARM software system, and the host computer interface is designed based on Phoebus tool to display the converted digital signal in real time. The results show that the system can realize high-speed parallel reading of multi-channel ADC and has the characteristics of high precision, high sampling rate, and strong portability.
