Design of Coiled Tubing Unit Based on Industrial Design Methods
摘要
In order to address the severe homogenization, cluttered visual appearance, complex operation, and poor human–machine interaction of domestic coiled tubing unit (CTU), an analysis of the design status of CTU was conducted. A novel CTU industrial design process was proposed and applied to the development of a new generation of products. Through product positioning analysis, overall machine and component visual design, control and interaction design, and structural design, the first domestically developed electric-driven integrated CTU was developed. The overall machine features an aesthetically pleasing appearance with harmoniously unified design language among its various components, greatly enhancing brand recognition and establishing a completely new product image. This product has been utilized in over 50 well constructions in the Daqing region, with its self-elevating derrick capable of rapid well-head assembly and disassembly within 10 min, reducing operational time by 50% compared to conventional CTU. Additionally, energy consumption has reduced by 90%, noise levels decreased by over 30%, and the successful application of the electrically driven integrated CTU provides theoretical and practical basis for the application of industrial design in the design and development of CTU and petroleum equipment, as well as new directions for the development of CTU.
