In the present-day world seeing the growth in number of vehicles being used there is a necessity for the efficient traffic management particularly in emergency situations such as Ambulances, Fire control trucks because as a result of growth of number of vehicles the frequency of emergency situations is also grown. This emergency traffic control system ETCS) is to prioritize the movement of emergent vehicles which ensures the safety of public in emergency situations in the narrow traffics of urban world. The ETCS uses technologies such as RFID sensors and readers, GPS and GSM modules for real time emergent vehicle detection and communication with traffic control system, This ETCS also features the adaptive traffic control system which communicates with vehicle detection part then alters the traffic signals accordingly as well as alerts the traffic and the area through the screen and buzzers used. As per the infrastructure used and the its seamless adaptability as well as communication this technology becomes most cost effective and easily deployable technology model for efficient traffic management in the emergency situations.
