Due to the developments being made in the digital banking landscape, the need for a reliable and flexible network infrastructure has significantly increased in the banking industry. The paper presents a multi-branch banking system that is effective and has the capacity to counter the modern-day cyber risks. In this project, Cisco Packet Tracer is used in conjunction with independent security devices such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems (IDS) to design a robust network architecture that will secure data transfer from the head office to any branch unit. Setting up Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs), Secure Shell (SSH), access control lists and redundancy settings are the core focus of the training. Their goals are to protect sensitive data that is needed for compliance and business continuity purposes. The high availability design of this network, which employs encryption techniques, security patches and fast network routes, also enhances the security of the network. In addition to ensuring regulatory requirements are met, the risk-based approach cyber resilience strategy further benefits the usability and effectiveness of the digital products for the clients.
