Design and Analysis of Table Formwork System Compared to Conventional Formwork System Using Analytical Method

As we know, India is the fast-growing country in the terms of constructional industry. Now a day, in India high rise buildings are increasingly common sight where land is expensive as in the center of the big cities. With the increase in population and migration of people to the cities, a need had arisen for construction of some buildings which occupy less area of ground and accommodate large number of people. So, vertical development or high-rise buildings is the ideal solution for the growing population to overcome this problem. Construction of such a vertical development or a high-rise building is very difficult and complicated for which we need a modern and advance techniques. It is vertical or horizontal arrangement made to keep concrete in position until it gains strength and shape. In a high-rise building, we should carry out a new technology to reduce time span of execution of construction work. Considering the significance of supporting structures many new techniques have evolved. The literature study showed that, conventional formwork lacks behind in many parameters than table formwork. It appears that, parameters such as bending stress, deflection in horizontal and vertical members results more in conventional formwork compared to table formwork. The table formwork is also a newly emerged system in many construction works.
