Data Fairness
摘要
In the era of big data, data-driven algorithms permeate nearly every aspect of daily life. A typical day illustrates this ubiquity: upon waking, we check the news on our phones, guided by recommendation algorithms that have learned our preferences; at lunch, we choose a restaurant suggested by an algorithm; when traveling, we let an algorithm plan our route; even weighty decisions-such as employee hiring and judicial sentencing-are now shaped by algorithmic outputs.
