Marital Matching
摘要
Marriage is an important part of social life of human beings. It is the basic social system established by human beings in the process of long-term evolution to form families and reproduce offspring in a sustainable and stable manner. Throughout the ages, the connotation of marriage is not only a simple union of a man and a woman (excluding same-sex marriages) based on a love relationship, but also often intertwined with political power, economic interests, cultural traditions, parental authority and other factors. In other words, a successful marriage is by no means a completely random action because each stage from acquaintance, familiarity and loving each other to marriage involves the subjective selection process of both parties. Taking subjective mate selection criteria for example, they are influenced by factors such as laws, social values, parental authority, personal educational attainment, social networks, and so on.
