In the era of “ubiquitous algorithms and intelligence”, understanding the behaviour of intelligent machines is of great significance for designing intelligent behaviour to benefit mankind, for the designers, developers, and users of intelligent machines. machine behaviour research, from an interdisciplinary perspective, places intelligent machine behaviour in an integrated system of “human-nature-artifact”, viewing intelligent machines as a series of “individuals with their own behaviour patterns and ecological responses”, discussing related issues of intelligent machine behaviour from the perspective of humans and society, illustrating human-intelligence interaction behaviour through multiple design cases, and finally proposing guiding principles and design guidelines for effectively managing machine behaviour.
