Report on Gender Mainstreaming in SPS Research for the Period 2023–2024

Gender mainstreaming has been a key commitment of the CCICED Executive Committee since 2018. To support the integration of gender considerations as part of the Special Policy Studies (SPS), each SPS research team receives gender mainstreaming guidance at the outset of the research process, as well as at various touchpoints during the drafting process. The guidance is meant to provide possible research avenues related to gender equality and highlight potential entry points for considering equity and diversity perspectives within each theme. This report provides a detailed overview of the integration of gender perspectives as part of CCICED’s 2023–2024 SPS final research papers. The report also identifies best practices for the mainstream gender perspectives.
