Summary and Outlook
摘要
Although Cognitive Translation and Interpreting Studies in China began later than in other countries, it has developed rapidly since the beginning of the twenty-first century, especially in the past decade. According to Holmes’s (1972/2000) two criteria for constructing a new discipline, China’s Cognitive Translation and Interpreting Studies have made remarkable progress in establishing academic communication platforms and forming a scholarly community, gradually becoming an important research field within translation studies and steadily moving toward maturity.
