The retail investment industry faces significant challenges in operational efficiency, often hindered by traditional processes that lack transparency and speed. This research proposes a novel tokenization-enabled permissioned blockchain framework to enhance operational efficiency within this sector. By leveraging the unique features of permissioned blockchain technology, such as Tokenization and smart contracts, our framework aims to streamline investment processes, reduce transaction costs, and improve compliance. We employed a comprehensive literature review for a detailed analysis of the retail investment industry and its challenges and a comprehensive study of current technological solutions available in the market. The findings indicate that implementing our framework can lead to a reduction in transaction times, a decrease in operational costs, and settlement time, thereby enabling a more agile investment environment. This research contributes to the growing knowledge of blockchain applications in finance and provides a practical roadmap for industry stakeholders aiming to adopt innovative technologies to improve operational efficiency.

摘要
