High-Reliability Incentive-Based Demand Response with Energy Storage Systems
摘要
In demand response programs implemented by load aggregators, the behavior of energy customers is inherently uncertain. It affects the reliability of the demand response and brings risks to the load aggregator’s decisions. How to improve the reliability of demand response has become an important research topic. Existing studies concentrate on the design of incentive mechanisms, while ignoring the reliability of demand response. In order to solve this problem, our paper incorporates energy storage devices into demand response and proposes a group of reliability indicators. Then, a joint scheduling model of users and energy storage is constructed to assess the role of energy storage in improving response reliability. The case study shows that the energy storage devices significantly enhance the reliability of demand response.
