Research on Segmented Measurement Method of GIS Long Bus Circuit Resistance with Variable Resistance
摘要
The accurate measurement of circuit resistance in Gas-Insulated Switchgear (GIS) equipment serves as a critical quality parameter throughout the manufacturing, installation, and maintenance processes. This paper introduces an innovative segmented testing methodology for evaluating the circuit resistance of GIS long bus configurations, specifically designed to overcome the technical limitations of conventional testing approaches when applied to ultra-long bus systems. The proposed solution leverages a variable-resistance principle to enable effective segmented testing, with this study first analyzing the fundamental technical barriers in GIS long bus resistance measurement before detailing the operational principles of the variable-resistance segmented approach. Through comprehensive simulation verification, the research demonstrates the method’s practical effectiveness in overcoming existing measurement constraints. This advancement provides power system operators with a valuable tool for condition-based maintenance of critical GIS infrastructure, ultimately contributing to enhanced operational safety and reliability in modern power transmission networks.
