Harmonic Suppression in Grid-Connected Photovoltaic Systems: An Active Power Filter Approach with ip-iq Detection

With the large scale grid integration of photovoltaic (PV) power generation systems, the problem of grid harmonic pollution is becoming more and more prominent, which poses a serious challenge to the power quality and stability of the power system. In this paper, the harmonic coupling mechanism triggered by grid-connected photovoltaic is studied. A harmonic suppression model for PV integration into the grid is constructed based on active filters. Through harmonic compensation with active filtering, the harmonic distortion rate of the grid is greatly reduced. The method can provide an important reference for the stable operation of the power grid.
