Competitiveness and Challenges of Chinese Airport Enterprise in the Global Market
摘要
Airport enterprises serve as pivotal transport hubs connecting the global economy and fostering local development, occupying a strategically significant position. This paper delves into the current state of China's airport enterprises, covering their historical evolution, global and domestic development trajectories, and contributions to the global economy. It further examines management and operational approaches within airport enterprises, addressing organisational structures, safety oversight, flight operations, customer service management, and financial controls. Through case studies of SHOGU and SPUGJ, the profitability mechanisms of airport enterprises are examined, followed by a discussion on future development trends and policy recommendations. The paper proposes that intelligent advancement, personalised services, and cross-industry collaboration and integration represent primary future development trends for airport enterprises. Policy recommendations to foster their growth include refining regulatory frameworks, enhancing policy support, optimising airport planning and layout, and boosting the competitiveness of airport enterprises.
