With the development of the global economy, Chinese transportation enterprises have occupied an important position internationally, and their development environment has been increasingly favorable. In the transportation field, the development of intelligent transportation has become a key trend. Intelligent transportation is of vital significance for ensuring transportation safety, improving transportation efficiency, promoting infrastructure construction and technological innovation, and helping to achieve the “dual carbon” goals. However, problems such as insufficient capital and policy support, unscientific management and operation models, unbalanced regional development, and severe information barriers have hindered the development of enterprises. Therefore, this paper conducts an in-depth discussion on the above-mentioned problems, analyzes the development status of some intelligent transportation enterprises, and draws on their valuable experience to provide relevant suggestions for the development of intelligent transportation enterprises, hoping to help Chinese transportation enterprises achieve high-quality development in the field of intelligent transportation.
