Building and Validating a Computational Thinking-Oriented Blended Learning Model: A Case Study of Junior High School Information Technology Curriculum
摘要
The cultivation of computational thinking is a key path to meet the challenges of the digital era, and in the current research on the cultivation of computational thinking, the more in-depth teaching mode is often more demanding and difficult to implement, while the flexible and convenient blended teaching mode provides a new teaching strategy for the cultivation of computational thinking. The purpose of this paper is to construct a blended teaching mode oriented to computational thinking, and to explore the application and effect validation of this mode in junior high school IT courses through survey method and quasi-experimental research method. It is found that, firstly, the computational thinking-oriented blended teaching mode can effectively improve students’ academic performance compared with the traditional teaching mode; secondly, the computational thinking-oriented blended teaching mode can effectively improve students’ computational thinking ability, including abstraction, decomposition, algorithmic, evaluative, and generalization thinking ability.
