This chapter summarizes the current status and effectiveness of green and low-carbon development in Anhui Province. Drawing on the results of the GLCDI for Anhui Province and its prefectural-level cities from 2011 to 2022, it analyzes the region’s developmental trajectory and identifies key challenges. Based on this analysis, the chapter proposes targeted and effective policy recommendations to improve regional policy frameworks, reduce disparities in green and low-carbon development, address ecological deficiencies, and promote green industrial upgrading. The goal is to advance the province’s overall green and low-carbon development and to foster coordinated progress across regions.
