Failure Prediction and Intelligent Control Methods for REAC System Based on Flow-Corrosion Mechanism

With the inferior quality of the world crude, the heat transfer equipment in the hydrogenation reaction effluent air cooling (REAC) system is prone to flow corrosion problems which poses a serious threat to the production safety of the hydrogenation unit, such as dew point corrosion, salt deposition corrosion and erosion corrosion. In this paper, the flow-corrosion mechanism and evolution law of REAC system were analyzed, and the method of design, material selection and manufacture based on flow-corrosion check was introduced. Additionally, the flow-corrosion diagnosis and supervision model were constructed, and the flow-corrosion intelligent prevention and control platform of REAC system was developed. The platform can identify and diagnose the flow-corrosion risk of equipment according to the working conditions, and put forward corresponding prevention and control measures to provide effective guarantee for the safe production of enterprises.
