Exploration of Cultivation Mode for Professional Degree Graduate Students Under the Whole-Chain Sci-Tech Innovation System: A Case Study of the Aerospace Information Research Institute at Chinese Academy of Sciences
摘要
Addressing the prominent challenges in the current professional degree graduate education, the Aerospace Information Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences leverages the synergistic effects of graduate education in the trinity of education, sci-tech, and talent. It explores a new cultivation model for professional degree graduate students in electronic information science and technology. This model operates under the whole-chain sci-tech innovation system, and integrates supervisor group tutoring, Required Components or Mandatory Stages and a quality assurance system. The institute has cultivated a large number of graduates earning Doctor of Engineering, Master of Engineering and professional Master’s degree, and cooperated with other higher education institutions in cultivating some graduates awarded the title of professional doctorate. The practical exploration of this institute might offer valuable insights for other professional degree graduate cultivation units.
