In this chapter, we introduce an implicit type contractive condition, and by using this condition, we discuss the existence and uniqueness of a common fixed point for a pair of admissible mappings. The work presented here unifies and extends several existing results. Further, as an application of our main result, a sufficient condition for the existence of a solution to a nonlinear fractional differential equation is also incorporated here.

摘要

In this chapter, we introduce an implicit type contractive condition, and by using this condition, we discuss the existence and uniqueness of a common fixed point for a pair of admissible mappings. The work presented here unifies and extends several existing results. Further, as an application of our main result, a sufficient condition for the existence of a solution to a nonlinear fractional differential equation is also incorporated here.
