When Frothy Urine Is Not Frothy
摘要
Alex was a 9-year-old boy who was referred for management of frothy urine. Alex was well all along. His neonatal history was uneventful, except there was transient dilatation of the right renal pelvis detected by the antenatal ultrasound. His postnatal ultrasound kidney was normal, and he did not have any regular follow-up by the paediatrician thereafter. He thrives and enters into regular primary school. He did not have any significant illness except occasional upper respiratory tract symptoms that required medical consultations. Otherwise, he has been doing well all along. What steps would you take to address Alex's complaint?
