The Concept of Nano-Ecosystem and Its Potential
摘要
The notion of the nano-ecosystem is a novel approach at the nexus of ecological studies and nanotechnology, offering a synergistic framework in which interactions at the nanoscale resemble those of ecological systems. This novel paradigm seeks to improve the functioning, sustainability, and integration of nanomaterials and devices into wider biological and environmental settings by utilizing the concepts of ecosystems in the design and management process. Researchers can create more durable and adaptable technology by equating artificial nanosystems with natural ecosystems. Nano-ecosystems have the potential to be used in many different disciplines, such as energy generation, environmental remediation, and medicine. These technologies provide intriguing answers for efficient energy conversion and storage, tailored medicine administration, and pollution management. A balanced approach to innovation is required in light of the significant ethical and environmental concerns that the advent of nano-ecosystems brings to light. In an effort to give a thorough review of this new topic, this chapter examines the fundamental ideas behind nano-ecosystems, as well as any possible advantages and implementation issues.
