The Projection Onto Data Plane

This chapter examines the functional roles and implementation mechanisms of the data plane in multi agent intelligent systems. In dynamic and heterogeneous environments with limited resources and high risks, diverse data types and complex data flows make an efficient data plane essential for perception, modeling, fusion, protection, and system evolution. The chapter first presents two representative use cases that show how the data plane enables cross domain collaboration and intelligent decision making. It then reviews mainstream data technologies and explains their practical limitations, which reveal important research bottlenecks and future trends. Finally, the chapter introduces core techniques such as multi source data aggregation, knowledge enhanced representation models, trusted sharing with traceability, and adaptive data lifecycle management to provide methodological and engineering pathways for effective data management in complex systems.
