This paper analyses the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) to foster sustainable education, focusing on improving the efficiency, accessibility, and quality of learning in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. It examines how AI can personalise the educational experience, predict and mitigate dropout, and optimise resources, thus contributing to educational equity. However, it also addresses the ethical and practical challenges associated with its integration in the context of education, including data privacy and possible reliance on automated technologies. The analysis in this chapter addresses the need for a critically reflective framework for implementing AI in a way that promotes truly inclusive education, balancing its benefits with the inherent challenges.

摘要
