This paper addresses the optimization of transport logistics in reforestation projects, focusing on minimizing time and costs associated with plant deliveries. A Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) framework was applied, using mixed-integer linear programming to determine optimal delivery truck routes while considering vehicle capacities and delivery demands. Additionally, a heuristic solution was implemented to reduce computational time while maintaining near-optimal results. Based on data from a reforestation entity in Mexico, findings demonstrate that the heuristic model efficiently manages reforestation logistics.
