Characterization of Flux Modulation Machines
摘要
The flux modulation theory and the various types of FMMs have been extensively discussed in Chaps. 2 and 3 , respectively. Although FMMs operate on similar principles, their topologies differ due to the unique arrangements, types, and structures of each unit. Consequently, FMMs exhibit both common characteristics and individualized traits due to these topological variations. This chapter begins by deriving the electromagnetic torque and power factor of the basic model, highlighting the shared features of FMMs. Following this, the chapter will analyze the average torque, torque ripple, and power factor of different FMM types, elucidating the reasons behind their unique characteristics.
